Ayurveda, loosely translated as the “science of life”, is a self-healing system from ancient India that is based on the intelligence of nature. It respects every person as unique and uses diet and lifestyle as a path to healing.
Living a life according to your unique Ayurvedic Constitution creates self-confidence and clarity in knowing how to thrive at your best by learning your ideal state of balance. It also teaches you how to avoid the weak areas of your constitution tending towards disease by proactively using your diet and lifestyle in a way that enhances your immunity.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- How Ayurveda understands health and disease by following the wisdom of Nature.
- Why knowing your Ayurvedic Constitution helps you to create a diet and lifestyle that
honours your uniqueness and creates a life of meaning.
- What Ayurvedic healing looks like on a day-to-day basis.
ABOUT SANDRA
One of my most profound a-ha moments in life was realising that I didn’t need to ascribe to the either/or…..this or that paradigm. I found a way, via Ayurveda, around having to choose between two great ideas by finding the sweet spot between, via balance, where I got the best of both worlds.
Merging the left mind of design thinking, alongside the right mind of creative, out of the box thinking, and a passion for small business, I hope to share an approach of Ayurvedic wellness with others that also struggle with feeling boxed in, are underwhelmed by the constant barrage of the super-miracle-remedies, feel a strong desire to do life their way, and have found a deep courage to step closer to their true selves - all geared towards finding balance in their lives.
By encouraging unconventionality, self-sovereignty, and the kind of higher consciousness that aligns with the heart, this is an approach to healing at the root cause of disease for those ready to shed an old skin and start life anew.
